ABOUT ME

My name is Ian Kerry.

I have worked in the Arts for all my working life, first as an actor and then when a family came along I moved over into the management and admin side of the arts.

Since 1996 I have developed many projects and raised funding for most of them for Arts Alive and Flicks in the Sticks.

My passion is to enable things to happen. Making Connections, Communities having a shared experience, enabling access for people who don’t normally access the arts.

I have had a motorbike for most of my life, and have had some amazing travels on it.

I have 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren (and still counting).

Why Artful Alchemist? I have always felt that the work we do in the arts is a real mix of ingredients, from funding to volunteers, from companies and films, to venues and events, all of which takes some artful organising to make an event a success.
